Embroidery is a decoration method where your design is stitched onto the fabric with coloured threads. It creates a premium, textured finish that is durable and long-lasting. Unlike printing (DTG or DTF), embroidery creates a raised surface that feels structured and polished — ideal for logos, initials, and short bold marks.

1. You upload or design your artwork (keep it simple and bold).
2. The design is digitized into a stitch file.
3. Thread colours are selected to match the design.
4. The embroidery machine stitches the design onto the garment.

That stitch map — not the original PNG alone — is what the machine reads. Digitization quality drives how clean the final piece looks.

Digitization converts your artwork into a stitch map embroidery machines can read. It defines:

• Stitch direction
• Stitch density
• Layering sequence
• Thread trims

Digitization directly affects final quality and stitch count. Tiny gradients or photo-like detail rarely survive this step — solid shapes and clear lettering do.

For the best embroidery results, keep your design:

• Clear and high quality
• Bold and easy to read
• Simple — not overly detailed or photo-realistic

Avoid gradients, soft shadows, and fine hairline art. Embroidery uses solid thread colours; blended digital effects do not translate to stitches.

• Design elements must be clear and bold.
• Very thin lines are hard to stitch accurately.
• Minimum object/text size: roughly 1 × 1 inch (width × height).
• Text height: aim for at least 5 mm; line thickness at least 0.8 mm.
• Typical max area for apparel placement: about 3.5 × 3.5 inches (small chest / logo zone).
• Cap / small placements are even tighter — often around 2.25 × 2.25 inches.

If a design is slightly undersized or too detailed, production may adjust spacing or simplify detailing so stitches stay clean. Thread colours can vary slightly from the screen mockup and from order to order — that is normal for physical thread.

Works well: simple logos, initials, short wordmarks, icons with thick outlines, 1–4 solid colours.

Does not work well: photo portraits, watercolour washes, tiny multi-line paragraphs, neon gradients, ultra-thin script fonts.

If your phrase is long and colourful — a WhatsApp roast, a Hinglish one-liner, a full chest quote — prefer DTF or DTG on the product page instead. Start with a round-neck tee or read the quote tee guide.

• Embroidery: premium logo feel, left-chest marks, brand initials, gifts that should feel “stitched luxury.”
• DTF / DTG: big quotes, multi-colour art, photo-like detail, dark-fabric colour blocks — see DTF getting started.
